After a frustrating couple weeks of trying to get back onto my old blogspot blog, i’ve given up. So.. it’s time to start fresh! This blog will be a place to post my DT creations, my personal cards and layouts, pics of my kids, random thoughts, card challenges, card sketches, and really, just whatever I feel like talking about! 
A little about myself, I’m Carla, ‘non-Martha’ wife to Dh, a SAHM to 4 wonderful kids. My dh works midnights, so you’ll find me here late at night relaxing after the kids are in bed chatting on msn and hanging out!
My newest hangout is a fabulous site called Lil’ Scrappers!! A totally scrumptious store, brand new gallery, and a message board that’s only 2 weeks old and busting at the seams!! I’m also a proud new DT member at LS and would for you to come on over and play!

Your watercolor card samples using Prismacolor pencils are GREAT! I’ve purchased Prismacolor pencils (not watercolor) and mineral spirits; however, the color does not ‘melt’…the line is still evident. I’ve tried several different types of papers without success. Any suggestions? Am anxious to use this technique on Easter cards…have used the watercolor w/water-brush and love how that looks but really like the bright colors of this technique!
