Gallery Idol Top 10 & Bitten By the Bug!!

Well this is my 2nd post today… are you sick of me yet? lol!  Just got back from the doctors with the girls, all is well, was time for immunizations, eek! I always feel bad when they have to get them, but such is life right? I took the girls to McDonalds for lunch afterwards.. so they seemed ok with it… ;)

So now i’m back and can now show you my Bitten by the Bug card and my Gallery Idol Top 10 card!!

Ok, lets start with my Gallery Idol card for the Top 10!!!  This weeks challenge was *BUTTONS*, now I love buttons, so I knew I was going to love this challenge!! I wanted something bright, fun, & summery!! I had a few ideas floating around, but finally decided on cupcakes with button & rhinestone sprinkles!! Now.. I think these look almost good enough to eat? How about you? LOL!! Yum! This week the cards get cut down to the Top 5… ack!!  So i’m crossing my fingers and hoping that you’ll all show me some lovin’!! lol! This week the lovely & uber talented Regina challenged her BBTB DT to use the Ice Cream Cone from Indie Art Cartridge.. this is one of the *coolest* cartridges.. I really love it! Instead of doing the typical pink ice cream, I went with orange! I love orange, and seem to be using it as much as possible lately! I’m drawn to it! lol! Bitten by the Bug was also sponsored by Paper Blooms with some *GORGEOUS* crocheted blossoms… i’m in love with these things!! They’re soooo beautiful!! Here’s my card for this weeks challenge:

Good morning ladies!  Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!! Nothing exciting here on my part.. hung around the house, dh has the weekend off which is rare, so was nice to just relax for the weekend with him & the kids. I’m out & about this morning with the girls, Dr’s appt’s, then I told the girls I’d take them to McD’s for lunch.. (ick! But they love it.. lol!) Today will be a double post day, hope nobody minds! I’m going to start with my L’il Scrappers GOT KIT reveal! Then this afternoon I’ll be back to show you my card from Gallery Idol & my Bitten by the Bug creation!!

Ok, my L’il Scrappers GOT KIT reveal first! This months kit is *GORGEOUS* & *SCRUMPTIOUS* filled with beautiful Collage Press double sided papers, fun die cuts, journaling tags, bling, pearls, ribbon, a 7 Gypsies Envelope album, etc… I have a tonne of kit stuff left, so you’ll be seeing more creations with this soon!!

I had sooo much fun working with this gorgeous kit!! Here are my creations, starting with the 7 Gypsies Envelope Album I made for my 11 year old daughter. I figured she could keep movie stubs, concert tickets, notes, mementos, etc.. in the envelopes! I know I would have loved something like this when I was a kid!
