L’il Scrappers Card Kit Reveal & Blog Candy!! Yum!

Good morning ladies!   I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day!! I want to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes!   I had a pretty good birthday, and got some scrumptious gifts!! From my dh & kids I got these amazing gifts…

Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8!! LOVE IT!! I took all my card kit pics with it.. super fast & sharp! I’m quite happy with it!!

I also received a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight flash…

Also received a gift certificate to my favourite online bookstore.. Chapters/Indigo!!

My best friend Michy took me out for lunch at my favourite restaurant ever, East Side Mario’s, and she gave me a chocolate brown COACH wallet that looks like this more or less.. (haven’t snapped a pic yet)

, a couple of the cutest little stuffie thingies that she found me on Etsy,

She also gave me some dark chocolate! YUM!!

So after lunch we head off to the market for cupcakes.. yum! Here’s a pic of the market, and the cupcakes from the CupCake Shop!

We also went to the Tea Haus while we were there and I grabbed about 7 bags of loose leaf tea.. the tea from this place is heaven on earth… sooo good! Michy got me hooked on it! YUM!!! While we were in there I noticed they had the Taj Mahal built of Lego! Is this not super cool?? I only had my 10-20mm with me or i’d have gotten some close ups…

Ok.. now let’s move onto my L’il Scrappers Card Kit Reveal!! We used the always fun Three Bugs in this kit… lots of bright & fun paper and embellishments… had fun with this kit! Here’s what I created with this kit…

Phew!!! Still with me ladies? LOL!!! Ok then… this scrumptious kit will be up for pre-order later on today!! Enjoy!!!

***

Now let’s see some BLOG CANDY shall we? I bought the new Making Memories Chloes Closet and am going to share!    I have a bunch of 6×6 pcs of Chloes Closet pp, (18 I think?) some MM/Prima blossoms, misc. ribbon, scrumptious buttons/brads, some chipboard, bling, Maya Road Sheers, and MM journaling tags!! Take a peek!!!

Now… you can do 2 things to either get 1 or 2 ballots into the draw….

1. Post and tell me what your favourite paper manufacturer is!! This is for one ballot!

2. Link up my blog candy on your blog, *THEN* come back and comment with your fave paper manufacturer *AND* letting me know you’ve linked me up! That’ll get you 2 ballots!

I will draw for a winner in a few days time… :)

And.. that’s the end of my neverending post today..    hope you’re still with me!!

Well that’s it for today ladies!! I’ll be back tomorrow with my BBTB challenge, a couple toots, & my last Scrap Addict card! Have a wonderful day!!

  2. Hmmm… my favorite paper manufacturer. I am a CTMH consultant and used to only use their product. Thanks to all the wonderful blogs like yours I have ventured out, don’t really know who my favorite is, perhaps Me & My Big Ideas since that is what I seem to be using most of the new stuff I bought! I have linked you on my blog!

  3. WOW, look at all these great cards!!! WOW!
And what very pretty blog candy! I put a link to your blog candy under my Blog Candy list that always stays at the top of my blog. :)
My favorite paper manufactures is BoBunny because I love the thickness of it and double-sided designs, which I could get more of it but it’s a bit pricing at my LSS. Too bad Michaels or ACMoore doesn’t carry it. But for more affordable paper I love Paper Pizzazz for all the fun papers they have especially the ones designed by Kelly Panacci! :)

Having said that i might add how springy these Chloe’s closet papers are and they make me feel happy. Thats what giveaways are suppose to make you feel huh? Thanks so much for the thoughtful giveaway, ms.cheryl

  8. Wow, looks like you were a lucky girl for your birthday.

Your photography is amazing, the pictures you have taken of those cards is so crisp and clear. Those cupcakes look adorable, it hasn’t as yet taken on in such a big way in the UK but they are starting to creep into the shops slowly. Your’s look scrummy.

Love the bright summery colours in the blog candy you are offering. Thanks for a chance to win.

My favourite paper manufacturer at the moment is DCWV. I love their fun ranges, the affordability and the glittery cards are to die for. It’s good quality for the price and I like bright colours which most of their ranges are.

Thanks for the opportunity to win :)

I also blogged about your blog candy http://scrappin-a-rose.blogspot.com/2009/02/blog-candy.html

  100. Oh there are soo many right now, MME, Sassafrass Lass, October Afternoon… I could go on and on – they have all come out with such fun papers this year its hard to choose… but my go to manufacturer is almost always Basic Grey — they have a nice variety of styles. I can almost always find something in one of their lines to go with what I’m working — especially now since they came out with that Lime Rickey line… perfect for layouts about an active toddler boy!!

  110. Where is this place you ate at, the cupcake place and the tea place!!!!! Curious minds want to know! Happy belated birthday and many more to come. Favorite paper – I love the Basic Grey stuff but really only have a couple sheets. My local store doesn’t have much so I tend to get a lot of the SU and CTMH. The colors and patterns of the Basic Grey just leave me drooling. Also, I loved your cards. So much fun! Thanks for sharing them.
