Morning ladies! I think i’m starting to feel the effects of living on very little sleep.. lol! And today, and most days, this is my very best friend in the whole wide world… lol!!!

Today I have my projects for the Sheetload Shortcut dt call to show you… we were asked to complete a gift card holder, a clear or frosted card, and a 3d item of some sort…. I had fun making these as I really love these products! They’re something fun & different than the usual cardstock base, and add a special touch I think! So here are my projects….

~ Gift Card Holder Folder ~ (That’s a mouthful isn’t it? lol!)

~ Treat Bag using a full frosted Shortcuts Base ~

Materials:
Card base, Treat bag base, Giftcard Folder: Sheetload Shortcuts
PP: WRMK Whiteout
Gems: MAMBI & Kaiser Craft
Ribbon: Creative Impressions
Alphas: American Crafts Velvet & Puffy Thickers
You can find more information on the Sheetload Shortcuts products here, and buy these fabulous bases and giftcard holders here!! Enjoy!
That’s it for today ladies…. i’m off to the mall today to get my oldest ds some snowpants… this kid grows like a weed and we have a tonne of snow! eek! Going to mail off my layout to Canadian Scrapbooker, then come back home to stay warm and hand out with my kidlets!
Have a great day ladies… thanks for your sweet comments and for stopping by!!
Oh… before I forget… I was asked yesterday about using bling and how I tie my “perfect” bows… bling is SUPER easy to use, *most* of it is self adhesive, so you just stick it on wherever you want it… as for my bows, I always flip my card over upside down, then take the ends of the ribbon and put them end over end, make one loop, and put another loop around and through. Then I pull it till its tight enough and and that’s it! Easy, peasy!

OMG….your ShortCuts DT call projects are awesome, Carla. I love the PPs, embellishments and colors that you used. Good luck, girlie!! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you…..and me! LOL!
xoxo
