Ok ladies…. this is going to be my very first card tutorial on here… I hope it’s not ‘too’ simple… I plan on posting one of these once a month, so if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see (that I can do… lol!) feel free to ask and i’ll see what I can do!
So… here we go!
Materials:
*Sorry ladies… my tutorial for this will be back next year.. this card was picked up for CARDS March.2009!

You will need the following:
Cardstock card base (mine is 5×5′)
3-6 gems
15″ ribbon
12″ twine
2 pcs of contrasting pp
1 deco edge punch
1 tag
1 sentiment (rub-on, alpha stickers, stamped quote/sentiment, etc)
2 buttons (one smaller than the other)
1 material or felt blossom
Step 1: Adhere 1st pc of pp on the bottom 1/2 of the card.
Step 2: Cut 2nd pc of pp to about 1 1/2″ shorter than card base. Punch deco edge on pc of pp and adhere to card base.
Step 3: Tie a bow in the end of the ribbon, leaving a long tail on the right hand side, do NOT trim yet.
Step 4 & 5: Layer 2 buttons on top of felt/material blossom and weave twine through….
Step 6: Tie the twine in a bow and pull snug.
Step 7: Adhere tag on card base, then layer on sentiment as shown.
Step 8 & 9: Place a glue dot on the back of the ribbon bow and adhere to left side of card layering over the tag as shown. Staple ribbon on right hand side of card, if you don’t have a stapler, use brads or simply adhere down with glue dots.
Step 10: Adhere bling beside sentiment and under sentiment as shown.

Hi Carla,
I found your blog today through Rae Barthel (http://simplyrae.blogspot.com/) who referred her readers to another blog Creative Journey (http://creativejourney.typepad.com/creative_journey/). Someone on Creative Journey posted your Christmas cards as her favorite card right now. How cool is that? I found two new great blogs today because of Rae and one is yours! I loved your tutorial and can’t wait to check out the rest of it.
Blessings,
Kate
