A few more Christmas Cards… and some blog candy!!

Morning ladies! I am now done my one Christmas card order! So i’ll show you the last 3… and then they’ll be on the way to their new home! lol!! On these cards I used my new Bazzill Stitchz Alpha template to handstitch “JOY” on each of the tags… I really think it gives them a “comforting home” look.. what do you think? Do you like the hand stitching?

Materials: Wild Asparagus pp, Staples Tag, MM poinsettia, buttons & epoxy tag, Melissa Frances Glitter Chipboard, Bazzill Stitchz Alpha Template, SU Scallop Punch.

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas cards and found some inspiration from them! I”m now starting a on a ***BIG*** order.. lol! But won’t be posting all of them… lol! They’re not as involved as these ones are.. moreso ’streamlined’.. ;)

Ok.. now onto some Blog Candy!! I won these in the Gallery Idol contest and won’t use them… they’re super cute though!! So I know someone must want them!

I haven’t been using much in the way of stamps lately so i’m going to pass these onto someone who will! I will also include an assortment of My Little Yellow Bicycle Zach’s Life pp!!! YUM!!!

If you’d like a chance to win these stamps just tell me if you’re a regular at my blog, or a first time visitor! :) Easy as pie! ;)

Have a wonderful day ladies… i’ll post the winner in the next day or two… :) Bye!

I thought i’d show you my goodies from the other day at the London Scrapbooking Expo… I met up with Kim B. whom i’ve talked to over the computer for the last year, and she is sooooo awesome and amazingly talented!! Check out her blog in my blogroll.. you won’t be sorry!!! It felt like we’d been friends for years! It’s funny how sometimes you connect so well with someone, especially over the internet! lol!

Here are my goodies from the Expo, I brought $100 with me and made myself stay *under* that…. I really don’t need anything, *blush*, if you saw my stash i’m sure you’d die… haha!! So just got a “few” things.. ;) I found a booth that had American Crafts Foam Thickers for $2.99 pkg!!! Which is an amazing deal here!! So I grabbed a bunch of those, and some other goodies! The Bazzill Stitchz template I loooooove!! The letters remind me of doodlebug alphas so I couldn’t resist! I already used it on a few Christmas cards which i’ll show you tomorrow! The last 3 Christmas cards for my one card order… so stay tuned! I think they turned out super cute!

*****

I’ve had a few ?’s over the last couple days that i’ll try to remember.. haha! I really should write them down as I come across them…. that would be the smart thing to do huh? ;)

1. What border punch did I use for my card tutorial?

I didn’t use a border punch on that card, the paper came like that! Very cool huh? :)   You are welcome to use any border punch at all on your card,  tear your pp, or use nothing at all! Make do with what you have! ;)

2. Are you using linen thread or string through the buttons on my Christmas cards?

It’s actually real twine… i’m all for texture and dimension! So this is just regular twine… you can buy a big ball of it at Micheals or Joanns (?) i’m sure!

3. Where do you buy your coloured twine?

I bought the stuff i’m using now at Micheal’s… it was a pkg with 5 colours in it I believe for about $6.99 or something like that… there were a few pkgs with diff colours in them… :) It’s not as thick as the brown stuff I use so easier to use/tie too! ;) I also noticed that Stampin’ Up has some coloured twine in their catalogue this season.. red, black, and brown. And it’s pretty cheap too… $3.00ish I believe!

And one last question…

4. How do you find the time to make everything you do?

I stay up ***WAY*** too late… lol! My dh works midnights, so i’m up till midnight regardless… I put my youngest 2 to bed, tidy up, then usually hit my scrap table. I don’t watch much TV, and hour or two a week, (I *LOVE* the Amazing Race, so NEVER miss it when it’s on!) so scrapping into the wee hours of the morning & chatting on msn to my friends, is what I do most nights when dh works! lol!

Well that’s it for today, if I missed your question, please feel free to ask again or email me… have a wonderful day ladies and thanks for stopping by and for your wonderful comments! :)
