Hi Everyone! :) Since i’ve been plugging away at my scrumptious Lil’ Scrappers (www.lilscrappers.ca)  DT kit for the my reveal on the 1st, haven’t had time for “other stuff”, so I thought i’d show you the first card I made for Laura’s sketch this week but decided not to use it.. that was my ‘rut’ week and I wasn’t lovin’ anything I was coming up with.. but… decided to post it anyways. ;)

And here’s my card… now that I look at it.. it’s not *that* bad.. lol! We’re always our own worst critics though, aren’t we? ;)

Materials: Pp: MME, Bling: TLC, Punch: Martha Stewart, Blossoms: Prima & Bazzill, Stamps: Autumn Leaves, Brads: Imaginisce, Chipboard: American Crafts.

Anyone like Tattoo’s? Dh went in yesterday to get his 2nd tattoo started… he chose a Fu-Dog, which is a ‘Gaurdian/Protector’… it is said to protect your family, home, etc.. from evil spirits. Very cool choice I think! Eventually it will be done in shades of grey/white/black… no colour for this one. He went for his first session yesterday, and he got about 1/2 of the outline done in a little over 3 hours… he will be getting more over his shoulder on on part of his chest… here’s a pic of what’s done so far…

Looks awesome!! :) I have NO tattoo’s in case anyone is wondering.. haha!! I don’t mind needles.. but not one going in and out of my skin a gazillion times repeatedly.. ;) So i’ll leave the tattoo stuff to my brave hubby.. haha!! ;)

    O.k. first of all girlie…Thanks for my b-day wishes!:) You are soooo silly this card is beautiful!!! I love it:)and last… my hubby is tattooed too! I love that foo dog. I just inherited a zillion Jade foo dogs from my husbands late grandmother! As for me no tattoo’s, I don’t even have my ears pierced:)LOL!

    Oooh…as for your dh’s tat…that’s one awesome image! I can’t imagine going through something like that for three hours! He must be a STRONG man! LOL! :)

    I’m so NOT a tatoo person either… but I do love your card! :) The sparkle from the blingy and the softness of the lace pair up so nicely witht he flower and brad centers!

    Wish I could create such “bad” cards as you. It’s a very nice one, but I understand your feelings about it. It’s difficult to love your own creations and it never seems to be perfect.
