Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend! Today i’m just lounging around… finishing up some DT projects, tomorrow is my Sept.1st reveal for our Lil’ Scrappers main kit.. which is rich and gorgeous! Can’t wait to show you! YUM! I’ll also be able to show you my next 2 Sketches 4 You Dt card! LOVED the sketch! I have no doubt you will too!

I used my Crate BlueHill goodies that I won from PC Gallery Idol for this! LOVE this line.. absolutely *Scrumptious*! Besides that just some cheap M’s ribbon, FISKARS threading water punch, SU Fold Heart Punch, and some Stampin’ Up Kraft CS! C’est tout!

Lil’ Scrappers Sassafrass Lass Card kit! YUM!!

Morning ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying their day! In my last box I received from Lil’ Scrappers I picked up last month’s card kit and have been playing with it this morning… I am loving it! The pp is so bright and fun, and the Owls rock! Who doesn’t love Owl stamps?? This kit comes with an assortment of Sass pp, a few owl stamps, and lots of goodies to finish off your cards!

ETA: I’ve been asked about my stitching a few times lately and thought i’d you know that I use a Kenmore Mini Ultra… I found it at Sears for $150 Cdn. (but know it goes for under $100 U.S) and I absolutely *LOVE* it!! I’ve had it for 2 yrs or so.. I mostly sew pp on my LO’s & Cards.. lol! But have hemmed the odd pr. of jeans and sewn some doll stuff for dd. So although its small.. it’s still a heavy duty machine and worth every penny! Here’s a pic:

Hi Everyone! Since i’ve been plugging away at my scrumptious Lil’ Scrappers (www.lilscrappers.ca)  DT kit for the my reveal on the 1st, haven’t had time for “other stuff”, so I thought i’d show you the first card I made for Laura’s sketch this week but decided not to use it.. that was my ‘rut’ week and I wasn’t lovin’ anything I was coming up with.. but… decided to post it anyways.

Anyone like Tattoo’s? Dh went in yesterday to get his 2nd tattoo started… he chose a Fu-Dog, which is a ‘Gaurdian/Protector’… it is said to protect your family, home, etc.. from evil spirits. Very cool choice I think! Eventually it will be done in shades of grey/white/black… no colour for this one. He went for his first session yesterday, and he got about 1/2 of the outline done in a little over 3 hours… he will be getting more over his shoulder on on part of his chest… here’s a pic of what’s done so far…

Looks awesome!! I have NO tattoo’s in case anyone is wondering.. haha!! I don’t mind needles.. but not one going in and out of my skin a gazillion times repeatedly.. So i’ll leave the tattoo stuff to my brave hubby.. haha!!

CPS #78 and my PC Gallery Idol winnings! :)

Hi ladies! Beautiful day here in sunny Ontario… not too hot.. just perfect!! I received my box from Lil’ Scrappers today FULL of goodies and my fabulous DT kits.. so I know what i’m going to do while Mya naps today!! LoL!

I also received my goodie box from Paper Crafts with my winnings from the Gallery Idol contest! Some yummy goodies in it!! I received the full line of Crate Bluehill Collection (and every item in the line, brads, rubs, ribbons, etc..), My Little Yellow Bicycle Zach full collection (this line is huge.. lol!), a MLYB chipboard album kit, a current issue of PC, a special issue of PC, a yr. subscription to Paper Crafts, and some Prima goodies (was supposed to be 2 complete lines of paper but Prima ran out and had to substitute.. blah! lol!) So from Prima I got a pkg. of chipboard letters, some stickers, a small transparency, and a small clear mini album. All in all.. pretty good for making a few cards.. haha!! Oh.. and of course 3 lovely certificates from each round of Gallery Idol I made through before getting the boot.. ROTFL!! Anyways.. lots of good stuff and I had fun in the contest! First contest I had ever entered.. so I think overall, I did well!

Ok… now onto my CPS #78 card for this week! I *LOVED* this weeks sketch.. YUM!! As soon as I looked at my Crate BlueHill collection papers I knew what I wanted to do with my CPS card.. Very simple card today… not really much to it, but I love the pp, and think that peacock makes the card! lol!

Expecting my box  crate from Lil’ Scrappers today containing my next DT kits, along with a couple extra card kits I just had to pick up!! I picked up 2 past kits… Crate SweetBranch and SassafrassLass! YUM! I’ll be sure to share my creations with you after I dig in! Can’t wait! Also ordered a bunch of other goodies… so i’m going to have fun digging through it all! LOL!!

Oh! I almost forgot.. someone asked me the other day if I only use white thread for stitching… Yes. Most of the time i’ll use white/cream… sometimes i’ll pull out another colour, but really my time is limited so white/cream will work with anything.. so more than anything, it’s a time factor. Works for me! lol!!
