What’s up for today? It’s another utterly *GORGEOUS* day here.. sunny, HOT, and white fluffy clouds in the sky! And, Dh is officially 39 today! 
Happy Birthday to my awesome husband!! Love him lots!!! He worked last night, works tonight, so will be sleeping during the day.. exciting bday for him, huh? lol! 
So i’m taking the girls to the mall for some shopping & lunch, and will make dh a nice dinner & cake for his birthday dinner!
Ok.. onto the scrappy stuff… I have 2 cards to show you today… the first one is the bday card I made for my wonderful Dh… it’s based on CPS Sketch #71! You can see the sketch here…

I was stumped on it at first.. but I think it came together well, and I managed to keep it looking masculine, which I struggle with!
Materials: Pp is Junkitz, (i’m not a junkitz fan, but this stuff I loved! Have used up almost every pc!) letters are American Crafts Foam Thickers, Star is punched with a Stampin’ Up punch, Button is doodlebug, Bazzill CS and “Just the Edge” ripple.
I have one more card to show you… this one is going out to a family that is going through a very rough time now… we’ll be sending along a monetary donation, and I will write an encouraging note in the card, and hope it helps in some small way…
