It’s been a while..

December has been absolutely insane for me.. not much scrapping time for me at all! Hopefully that’ll change soon.. time will tell! We had a wonderful Christmas, kids got spoiled rotten, but ’tis the season!

Had a couple allergy scares with Mya and ended up in the ER both times I tried to give her cereal… so that’s one of the reasons I haven’t been around.. stressed out and worried about my bambino. She’s doing much better now and after I see her Ped. in Jan. we’ll know where to go from here…

Tomorrow is my oldest dd’s 10th birthday!! We went out today and bought everything we need for a Luau party! She is SO excited!! We have lei’s, grass skirts, hawiian flower decorations, you name it, I bought it! I’ll be baking a birthday cake bright and early tomorrow morning and getting everything tidied for her sleepover party tomorrow night! Hoping to get some fun pics to share with you!!

What’s everyone doing for New Years? I plan on ordering pizza, getting some munchies, and hanging out with my Dh & kids! Movies, games, and probably some PS3 Guitar Hero which seems to be the newest fave game around here.. lots of fun!

Well I thought i’d update.. thanks for asking for me, and thank-you for the beautiful Christmas cards I received! I’m so blessed to have such wonderful friends!! IRL and online!! Some of my cards went out late with everything that happened in December, *blush* and my mind hasn’t been what/where it should be… so please forgive me if yours is late..

As Winnie the Pooh would say!! It’s freezing cold too! lol!! -20c today.. Brrr!! Snowing like crazy… I guess that storm we were supposed to get has started… I’m supposed to be baking right now.. but here I sit.. lol!

TGIF!!! Well.. it’s Friday..

And apparently we’re supposed to be getting a HUGE storm here coming in from Texas! So if you’re reading this and are in Texas… thanks for your generosity.. but keep it! LOL!! Although the kids would love a couple more feet of snow i’m sure.. lol!

Good afternoon! Hope everyone is having a nice day! We have lots of snow here and the kids are loving it!! They’re getting a lot of use out of their sleds this year! lol!

This morning Mya had her 6 month immunizations (we’re 1 1/2 months behind schedule) and she didn’t make a peep this time! After her 2nd needle she started to pout, but as soon as I picked her up for snuggling and kisses she was fine! Hoping she stays happy today and they don’t bother her! I get so stressed when they have to get a needle.. my poor babies! lol!

Anyways… I have a funky card to show you today… the pp was a RAK from Michy for doing her card sketch a couple weeks ago! She RAK’ed me a bunch of yummy 12×12 pp!! She loves me.. i’m so lucky! lol!

Sorry i’ve been MIA!

Things have been busy here.. and no time to scrap! I could share the boring, mundane details of my days.. but I figured i’d spare you! LOL!! December is crazy for most of us i’m sure… so such is life!

 I do have a card to share today.. Dh asked me him a Sympathy card for someone at work.. this is a super simple card, but it works for the ‘occasion’ I feel.

Morning!! The sun is out today for once.. yay! Still cold.. but at least the sun is shining! I’m hoping to run out later on tonight and finish up my Xmas shopping.. need a few stocking stuffers then i’m good to go!

Today I have a gift-card holder to show you… my Demo made these in our last Stamp Club night, and I love it! I made mine for b-day as my dd’s birthday is coming up and I plan on getting her a GC as part of her gift..

Hello!! :)

Ok… so i’ve come to the realization that posting daily just isn’t gonna happen in December.. lol!! Things are too busy, and miss Mya doesn’t like to sleep much.. so… my posting for the month will be sporadic.. I hope you’ll keep checking in though, cause I will be posting.. just can’t promise when!

However, this morning I was able to sneak in some scrap time, and made this neat ‘Gratitude Journal’.. you make it any size you like, I used chipboard for the front and back covers, (8″ x 4.5″) then use up your scrap tags, paper, etc.. and put them in the middle of your book to journal on. I’m sure some would do this daily, some weekly, etc.. so far I only have 12 pgs in mine, but I doubt i’ll get to it daily, so I figure i’ll just add to my pages as inspiration hits, or when i’m having a rotten day and really need to ‘count my blessings’!

Kathy T posted hers on ScrapShotz yesterday, and I was inspired, so made mine today!

Ok.. my DT items this month are from an absolutely *GORGEOUS* ScrapShotz kit, MME Frost line!! SO delicious!! Loved working with this kit! (Sorry for the pics.. they were all taken at 10pm.. lol!!) \

And finally.. is my fave item.. a large altered wooden star.. I turned it into “Mya’s 1st Xmas”..
