CPS #153 Part Two!

Hello ladies! How was your day? Mine was meh.. not feeling so hot & had kids all day… i’m ready to relax & unwind… but still have to clean the kitchen, bathroom, and tidy up a bit. Oh such a glamorous life I lead… Anyways… I am back today with another CPS #153 DT card made with more scrumptious goodies sponsored by Papertrey Ink! YUMMY!! And… before I post my card, I have to warn you, you may want to sit down. I used.. *gasp* PURPLE. And lots of it! lol!! I’m starting to get used to purple seeing as my youngest daughter is absolutely OBSESSED with it and MUST wear purple every single day, and will ONLY wear pajamas if they’re purple or have  purple hearts on them. lol! It’s insane really… but what can you do?

CPS #153 PaperTrey Ink!

Good Morning ladies! How’s your day going so far? It’s bright & sunny here, and not too cold really! I have no ‘borrowed’ kids today, just my own, so i’m free! So to speak.. lol! Not much going on today, just the usual really… did anyone watch the Superbowl!? No.. me neither.. LOL! I used to be into football but kind of got out of it… so my oldest daughter & I ended up watching a movie instead… hubby worked so he didn’t get to see it, buy my son would excited about the outcome.. since his team won! He already had the SuperBowl Champions wallpaper on his computer last week.. lol! So now I guess he gets to keep it up a while longer..

Anyways, today I have my CPS Dt card to show you! This weeks sketch is a nice simple sketch that can be use in so many ways, be sure to hop on over to CPS and take a peek at the sketch and the other gorgeous DT cards! This week we were sponsored by the ever so popular (and OH SO GENEROUS!!!) PaperTrey Ink!! We each received a box of fabulous goodies, so keep on checking back this week for PTI creations! I have to be honest and say that this is the first time i’ve ever used PaperTrey Ink… but this stuff is soooo good! The paper is nice & thick, gorgeous colours! The ribbon matches the papers to perfection, and you get SO much on a spool! And the stamps are gorgeous and stamp out sooo nicely! Yum!! I will definitely be checking out the rest of their goodies!!

Hi Ladies! How’s your day going so far? It is bright & sunny here, but brutally COLD!! Brr!! Hubby took the girls to visit with grandma for the day so i’ve been working on my housework in peace… lol! Well.. with the radio blasted of course! Need some mojo music afterall! What’s everyone else up to today? For me, just housework really… hoping to scrap tonight a bit as I received my 2 scrumptious LS DT kits and am dying to dig in! YUM!!!

Anyways, I have a birthday card to show you… bright & fun using my Hannah Montana cartridge… which is an awesome cartridge! So many fabulous cuts on it!!

CuttleBug Challenge Sweet Treat Thursday!

Good Morning ladies! How was your night? My night was fabulous!! If you read my post last night you’ll know that I was going out for dinner & to see CATS. I loved CATS! Was an amazing production… if I wasn’t up in the balcony section (where I thought i was going to plunge to my death! I hate heights, yet my sister loves them and bought front & center balcony seats.. ack!) I would have been on the edge of my seat the entire time!! I have to say, when Grizabella (Anastasia Lange) sang “Memory”, totally brought tears to  my eyes sent shivers up and down my entire body.. i’ve never in my life heard anyone with such a beautiful voice! Just amazing & breath-taking! If you ever have a chance to see this, i’d definitely go! Unfortunately, no pics were allowed, so no pics to share.

Ok.. onto my scrappy projects for today! Today is “Sweet Treats Thursday” at the CuttleBug Challenge blog and we have lots of Valentines goodies to show you again! We were challenged to use at least 3 different heart cuts from 3 different cartridges. Well I managed to use 5 different cartridges for this one!

Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More, Plantin Schoolbook, Sweethearts, Wild Card, & the Wedding Cartridge!!

Here are my projects!

Materials:

• Stampin’ Up paper
• Stampin’ Up Kraft CS
• Paper Tray Ink Buttons
• American Crafts Thickers
• KaiserCraft Pearls
• Making Memories Rub-ons
• Prima Rhinestones

Directions:

1. Cut boxes from Tags, Bags, Boxes & more. Adhere together.
2. Cut hearts to fit boxes from Plantin Schoolbook. Adhere to box.
3. Cut pink hearts from sweethearts. Adhere to box.
4. Cut yellow heart from Wedding cartridge, adhere to box.
5. Adhere buttons, thickers, pearls, & Rub-ons.

~Card~

1. Cut heart card from Wild Card. Cut “layer” to fit card base. Adhere. Stitch card.
2. Use 2 hearts cut from “Sweethearts”, adhere to card.
3. Apply rub-on to white CS. Punch scallop from pp. Adhere together, adhere to card.
4. Adhere rhinestone swirls to card.
5. Insert thread through button, adhere to hearts.
