Hello ladies! How was your night? I went up the hospital to see grandma for a while with my neice… she was quite tired so it was only a short visit, didn’t get to talk to a nurse or doctor, but she seemed ok overall… my dh is on his way up for the day, so i’ll know more later on I guess. So i’ll be at home working on some housework, and i’m in the mood for roasted chicken, so i’ll be making that with all the ‘fixin’s’.. yum! :)

Today I have another Christmas card to show you from the contents of my L’il Scrappers, “The Polar Express” kit…

Materials: Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co pp, brad, tag. MAMBI Rhinestones, Misc. sheer ribbon, Bazzill CS.

I’m off for now ladies, want to get in my workout before I pick up my ‘borrowed kid’! ;) Have a wonderful day!!

Good Morning & CPS 143…

Good Morning ladies… how was everyones weekend? Anything exciting going on? I’ve been a little pre-occupied and a lot stressed out as my grandmother in law who is 89, fell and broke her femur in 4 different places… :( She had to have surgery on it and with all surgeries there are risks & complications, especially when it’s a long surgery like hers was and when you’re dealing with this age group… so we’re visiting her lots and praying she heals well.. she had a fever last night so that worries us.. if you could send your thoughts & prayers her way for a speedy recovery we’d *GREATLY* appreciate it! I’ll update when I can.

Ok, onto other things… last night I had my scraps sitting out from my L’il Scrappers GOT KIT and decided to pop over to CPS again and see what the sketch looked like this week… well it sang to me so I played along..

~CPS 143~

Materials: Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co. pp & Tags, Prima Poinsettia, Making Memories Stick Pin, Stampin’ Up punch, Ribbon & Rhinestones (?).

And that’s all for today ladies… i’m off to grab my coffee, hubby is already up at the hospital, so i’ll sit by the phone to hear how grandma did last night..

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Happy Saturday & CPS #142…

Hi ladies! How is your weekend going so far? Last night I took my oldest daughter to see “A Christmas Carol” in 3D.. was pretty cool! And we both enjoyed the movie.. worth a watch! The stupid 3D glasses you have to wear gave me a headache though, i’m not used to wearing anything on my ears like that so I felt like they were pinching for 2 hrs… LOL! My daughter told me to “suck it up” however.. haha! Oh well… ;)

Today I have a birthday card to show you using CPS sketch #142~! Loved this weeks sketch and I received some goodies in the mail this week from one of my pubs in CARDS and this pp/chipboard etc.. was in it! SOOO cute I think!! It’s actually a birthday book, but I wanted to use the stuff instead.. lol! So i’ll give one of my daughters the “birthday” book to colour in or whatever…

Anyways, here’s my card:

Materials: Bazzill Swiss Dot CS, and i’m soo sorry but I can’t find the manufacturer of the pp/chipboard, etc… lol! The ribbon is American Crafts though! ;) The epoxy button is from the Making Memories baby line..

Well i’m off for the night, I still have my L’il Scrapper Mini Kit to show you.. so that’ll come soon! Have a wonderful night ladies!! Thanks for stopping by!

Good evening ladies! :)

Hello ladies!  How was your day? I think from here on in i’ll be making my blog posts in the evening, my day goes smoother & I get a lot more accomplished if I don’t open up my laptop in the morning! ;) How about you? Do you set a “limit” on computer time in the mornings/evenings? I have so much to do and it amazes me how quickly the computer sucks my time away!  So for now on any blog posting, msg. board stuff, etc.. will be done in the evenings. :) If I could figure out how to schedule a post I could do it that way too I suppose, but everytime I try it, it never goes live. NO idea what i’m doing wrong… but it’s frustrating. I’ve even had a couple friends try for me and it still wouldn’t go…

Anyways, today i’d like to take a minute to introduce The Little Stamp Shoppes 2 newest DT members!! We are super excited to have these 2 fabulously talented ladies on the DT and I encourage you to take a peek at their blogs!!  The 2 lucky ladies are Jeanette & Melyssa!!  The applications we received were all so amazing and it really was a tough choice narrowing it down.. eek! lol! But in the end, these 2 wonderfully talented ladies were the “chosen ones”… hahaha!!! ;)

Ok… now for today’s card! Today I have a card using Sitting Tilda with Glitter on my card.. I also used the Holly Letter for her to sit on! Heidi also sent me more of the yummy So Jolly Magnolia paper to use on my card!

Materials: Cricut Expression to cut Card Base, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, Copics, Prismacolors & Gamsol, Daisy D Heart Rhinestones, KaiserCraft Rhinestone, Doodlebug glitter CS, Bazzill CS, Melissa Frances Keyhole, Making Memories Epoxy sentiment.

Well that’s it for today ladies! Tonight i’m working on a simple set of Birthday Cards for my grandma (i’ll post when i’m done) and probably just relaxing & watching a movie with my oldest dd. Have a fabulous night & thanks for stopping by!

PaperBlooms last challenge…

Good morning ladies! How is everyone doing today? It’s bright & sunny here, but cold! Brrr!! I have about a million loads of laundry to do today, gotta snap some pics of my project from my LS Mini Kit, and would like to do a blog challenge or two!! I also bought  myself a new Wii game the other daycalled My Fitness Coach and would like to get back to my daily workouts! I’ve rented this game before and it can be a very intense workout! You plug in your stats after doing some tests, measurements, etc… and it tailors the program to your fitness level. With everyone being sick with the flu a couple weeks back it sucked the life out of me… I lost 5 lbs (that I didn’t mean to) and my energy level was sooo low, it was horrible! But now i’m feeling back to “normal”… (as normal as I am anyways… ;) LOL!!!) and would like to get back to it!

Anyways, i’m sad to say that the PaperBlooms Challenge blog is closing down… So it would be wonderful if you’d play along this week! The challenge is to make a Thank-You card, you don’t have to use Leah’s crocheted blossoms (unless you have them!), but please take a peek at the DT cards and play along if you get a chance! Here’s my card for this week….

Materials: Basic Grey pp, Maya Road sheer, Paperblooms Crocheted blossom, American Crafts “button”, Fiskars Punch, Scenic Route Stickers.

Well ladies i’m off for now or else i’ll never get my ‘to do’ list accomplished!! Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by! :)
